Global Education

Global Education hosted representatives from the universities of Nottingham, Reading, Coventry, Derby and Nottingham Trent in their offices. The visits took place during the third week of October. The purpose of their visit was to see students who are interested in joining the university in September 2020 as well as to inform educational advisors of new curricula, available scholarships and general information on the latest developments within the university. t is always a pleasure to have university representatives with us and to give our students the opportunity to have a more personal contact with them in a relaxed environment.

The UK remains a top destination of choice for Cypriot students, with approximately 1% of the population studying in the UK at any one time, and around 40,000 alumni of UK institutions in total. Despite its small size, Cyprus ranks as the 10th most important source country for international students in the UK according to recent statistics. The Universities of Reading, Essex and Sussex traditionally have the largest numbers of Cypriot students. The first back-to-uni festival was held at the University of Cyprus on Thursday 19 September 2019 in a nice, pleasant atmosphere. Global Educational Services gave its present with an impressive stand. Students who visited Global had the opportunity to learn about education abroad, from experienced counselors and participated in the various games organized by Global team. Middlesex University attended the first UniFEST 2019 event held on Thursday 19 September at the University of Cyprus. The university participated along with Global Education stand, the exclusive representatives of the university in Cyprus. The students of the University of Cyprus had fun playing the game of Scrabble, forming as many words as possible from the name of the university in one minute. A gathering of young students studying at Derby University took place on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Presse Café in Nicosia. The event was organized by Global Educational Services, the exclusive representatives of the University in Cyprus in collaboration with Derby Hellenic & Cypriot Society. The Greek & Cypriot Societies of Manchester held their Pre-departure event on Friday, August 30, 2019 where students had the opportunity to meet their fellow students who will be studying at the same University for September 2019 entry.
