The seminar “Studies Abroad: UK, Germany and The Netherlands” was completed with great success. The seminar, organized jointly by Global Education and the Federation of Parents' Associations of Secondary and Technical Education Nicosia, took place on Thursday 18th April at 19:00 at the Cultural Center, Strovolos. Presenter of the seminar, Global Educations Marketing Manager, Despo Charalambous, welcomed the guests and then invited Global CEO, Mr. Chris Sofroniou, to talk about studies in the UK. Derby University organized an alumni gathering for graduates of Buxton School on Wednesday 6 March 2019 at Stasicratous 30. It was a beautiful night which was truly enjoyed by everyone. The guests were welcomed by members of Global Education, representatives of the university, as well as Mikaela Green from the International Office and Chef Phil Hardy who came to Cyprus for the occasion.
The Offer Holder Event organized by the University of Derby - Buxton Campus was held On Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at Stasicratous 30 café. The event was for students who received an offer to join the BA Hons Professional Culinary Arts for September 2019 at Derby University (Buxton campus). This was organized by Global Education along with the University of Derby. The visit was organized by the team of Derby University at the Technical School in Nicosia, on Friday, March 8, 2019. The purpose of the visit was to conduct an experiential workshop with students from Chef and Lecturer Phil Hardy. Mr. Hardy showed students how to make English bread and scones, and then students, under Mr. Hardy’s supervision, made their own. Chef and Lecturer Phil Hardy, from Derby University - Buxton Campus, visited the Technical School III in Nicosia on Wednesday, March 6, where he spent the whole morning with students in the cooking and banquet department.
