Coventry University – May 2020 intake is on!

Despite the challenges we face, recent feedback confirms that many students still want to start with us in May 2020. They had pinned their hopes and dreams on a Coventry degree, and do not want to put their plans on hold. UK Cypriot students not alone-food parcels start today

The foreign ministry is intensifying its support campaign for Cypriot students in the UK, starting with the launch of a food parcels programme today, coordinated by the National Federation of Cypriots in the country. The Cypriot Government assures Cypriot students in UK of their support

The government today assured Cypriot students abroad of their country’s support, with Foreign Minister Nikos Christodoulides setting up a teleconference with the heads of all student organisations, particularly focusing on the UK, where the largest number are studying and where parents are the most concerned about their welfare. UK universities minister tells students ‘stay where you are’

Michelle Donelan, the UK’s minister of state for universities, has told students at English Universities who are still in halls of residence or private rented accommodation not to travel home but to “stay where you are”. “While many students will already have travelled home, I know that those of you who have not, or cannot, will be concerned about what you should do now.  The Government’s advice is that students remaining at university in England should now stay where they are and not attempt to travel,” she wrote. A Level and GSCE exams have been cancelled amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The news has left parents, students and teachers with many questions about what it will mean for teenagers hoping to start University in the autumn term. Education secretary Gavin Williamson has said that all statutory exams in England – Sats, GCSEs and A-levels – will no longer take place this academic year. But Mr Williamson has said the government will do all it can to ensure students receive their GCSE and A-level results in summer. Cyprus to shut all schools and universities

The Cyprus Education Ministry, Prodromos Prodromou, said Wednesday (11 March 2020) it was closing all public and private schools and universities as a precaution in the wake of the novel coronavirus outbreak. A statement said the action was being taken to stop the Covid-19 virus spreading. All schools in the capital Nicosia will be closed for an extended period, from the initial three days announced on Tuesday until March 20. Global Education at the “Education and Occupations 2020” Fair

Global Education participated in the recent Fair “Education and Occupations 2020” organized for the second consecutive year by the Nicosia Federation of Secondary and Technical Education Parents on Sunday, January 12, 2020 at the State Fair. Students and parents who visited our booth had the opportunity to speak with Global Education's dedicated educators, and get useful information about studying abroad.
