Overview

Established in 1973, EU Business School (EU) is an international, professionally accredited, high-ranking business school with campuses in Barcelona, Geneva, Montreux, Munich and online.

It offers English-taught foundation, bachelor’s, master’s and MBA programs that foster entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership skills. The small class sizes guarantee personalized and cooperative learning from our faculty of highly qualified academics, entrepreneurs and business leaders. EU Business School uses a combination of classroom theory and experiential learning to immerse students in a real-world business environment and students frequently take part in guest speaker sessions, company visits, field trips, case studies, business simulations and internships.

EU has a multicultural student body and faculty with more than 100 nationalities and a 27,000-strong alumni network. Its intercampus and international exchange programs further enhance students’ global experience, preparing them for the rapidly evolving international business environment.

Locations

EU campuses are located on the sunny Mediterranean coastline, at the foot of the Swiss Alps, and in the economic powerhouse of Germany, offering students the opportunity to live in four distinct and enriching European cities. There is also an online campus which offers students the opportunity to study at their own pace around the world. Students can transfer between campuses and explore the diversity of Barcelona, Geneva, Montreux and Munich. This provides a great excuse to learn a new language and meet a variety of people from different cultures while experiencing new business-oriented opportunities.

Master programmes: CHF 9,600 or CHF 12,600 / term depending on a programme

Most of EU Business School study programmes have four start dates per year (October, February, June & August)*, therefore the application process is quite flexible.

GENEVA

EU Geneva students benefit from the extraordinary concentration of international organizations, financial institutions and multinational companies located in this Swiss city. This bustling financial and diplomatic center boasts a thriving cultural scene and is also home to the luxury watch industry. Its proximity to the Alps makes it a haven for outdoor and nature enthusiasts.

Head for a scenic lunch break at Philosopher’s Island and Parc des Bastions or find a quiet place to study in one of the biggest libraries in the city just a few minutes away on foot. In summer, students can take a refreshing swim in Lake Geneva at Bain de Pâquis beach or take a stroll through the flea market in Plainpalais. With the Alps just a short, one-hour drive away, they can hit the slopes every weekend. Geneva is also home to a number of music festivals plus the Nuits de Bain – gallery nights that take place in the hip art district of Quartier des Bains.

Geneva Campus

The EU Geneva campus enjoys a superb location close to the world-famous Jet d’Eau and the Pont du Mont-Blanc in the center of Geneva, Europe’s financial and diplomatic capital.

This modern, central campus building, inaugurated in January 2020, features state-of-the-art facilities designed to promote learning and student wellbeing. The library and study rooms have been customized to create the perfect environment for studying, reading or working on assignments. It is surrounded by shops and restaurants, and the excellent public transport links make it easy to explore this beautiful, safe and affluent city, as well as Lake Geneva and the surrounding Alps.

At EU Geneva, students are surrounded by eclectic architecture, artisanal shops, trendy bars and restaurants. The area is well connected by public transportation, so students can easily get around and explore this charming city.

MONTREAUX

The Lake Geneva region is an outstanding destination for studying business: it contains a multitude of international organizations and prestigious company HQs as well as a plethora of tech companies and startups. EU Montreux students can take advantage by networking and participating in company visits to prominent organizations such as the International Olympic Committee or the headquarters of global giants like Nestlé which are located nearby.

The city provides a relaxing atmosphere and plenty of opportunity to enjoy free time. Its hosts one of the largest music festivals in the world, the Montreux Jazz Festival, every year, and has inspired musicians such as Freddie Mercury and David Bowie over the ages. The EU Montreux campus occupies the Villa Ormond, a charming 18th-century mansion set in spectacular gardens on the shores of Lake Geneva. This boutique campus is perfectly situated in the center of Montreux, a lively student town with plenty of shops and cafés.

EU Montreux campus boasts beautiful light, high-ceiling classrooms with breathtaking views of the lake and mountains and state-of-the-art learning facilities that promote learning and student wellbeing. With many activities within walking distance of campus, it is the perfect location for both studying and socializing.

Numerous hiking trails allow for quick excursions to nearby forests and the Queen Studio Experience offers a glimpse into the iconic group’s recording history in Montreux’s original Mountain Studios. In summer Lake Geneva comes alive with sailing and watersports and the world-famous Montreux Jazz Festival attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors and hosts some of the world’s greatest musicians. In winter, Montreux transforms into a paradise. With the nearest ski resort Villars just 40 minutes away by car, students can spend their weekends on the slopes.
