The Pre departure gathering for new students attending the University of Derby was held very successfully

The Pre departure gathering for our students studying at Derby University took place on Friday, September 4, 2020 at Presse Café Stavrou in Nicosia.
The organizers of the event were Global Educational Services, exclusive representatives of the university in Cyprus, together with Derby Hellenic & Cypriot Society.

The Society’s President, Fanis Maxoutis, welcomed the new students and gave a short speech about the action and work of the Society as well as useful tips for their smooth integration into the university. This was followed by a greeting from Global Education Director, Chris Sofroniou, who wished everyone good luck with their studies.

All students were treated to a refreshing drink. The new students were also given various promotional gifts from the university. The event continued in a relaxed atmosphere and nice music giving the attendees the opportunity to get to know each other.
