Breda University of Applied Sciences is a medium-sized, government-funded higher education institute. More than 7,000 Dutch and international students from some 100 countries are studying at the institute. University offers bachelor’s and master’s programme at professional (‘hbo’) and academic (‘wo’) level in the domains of Games, Media, Hotel, Facility, Logistics, Built Environment, Tourism and Leisure & Events.

Breda University of Applied Sciences has strong ties with the professional field, focusing on entrepreneurial and business-oriented activities. In this process, they seek out innovations, adopt an international outlook and make socially responsible and sustainable choices.

LOCATION 

All departments of Breda University of Applied Sciences can be found on our new campus at the Mgr. Hopmansstraat in Breda, The Netherlands. The campus consists of three building including a former convent. The buildings are situated in a green, park like, environment at the edge of the city centre. The city itself is fun, safe and internationally oriented.

Downtown Breda is bustling with pubs, outdoor terraces, restaurants, bars and clubs. You will also find many trendy shops and galleries. And as for sports and culture, you can see a soccer game in the NAC stadium. Or hop on your bike to one of the theatres and watch a movie or a play.

ACCOMMODATION & EXPENSES

Breda University of Applied Sciences does not offer on-campus housing facilities. However, Student Office assists international students in finding suitable accommodation. The rent of a student room ranges from € 350 to € 450 per person per month.

The bicycle is the cheapest and easiest way to get around, especially if you live in the city.
