The European University of Rome (UER) is a private universityestablished in 2005 that is rapidly growing in terms of teaching quality, research and status. It has a student population of around 2000 students and 184 faculty members, which underpins a strong sense of community and a positive student experience.
The University’s campus has a privileged location in Rome – five minutes ride from the Vatican’s St Peter’s Square and its beautiful campus includes brand new accommodation facilities.
UER’s academic offer includes five Bachelor and four Master programmes, one PhD, and ten postgraduate specialization and advanced training courses across five different areas – Business and economics, Law, Psychology, Education and Tourism. In addition, the University offers students the opportunity of completing the last year of their Business bachelor and master programmes in English.

Combined Bachelor and Master programmes:
UER offers two programmes that have a duration of five years, in which graduates obtain the equivalent of a Masters degree upon completion. This type of programmes are called Ciclounico and could be explained as a combination of a Bachelor and a Master programme in one. However, students are only awarded one degree (the Master’s degree) when they graduate.

Postgraduate Specialisation Programmes:
Postgraduate specialisation programmes are known as Master degrees in the Italian Higher Education system. However, they are not equivalent to LaureaMagisteriale or Ciclounico programmes. There are two types of Master programmes: – 1st Level Masters, to which students with a Bachelor degree (Laureatriennale) can apply and, – 2nd Level Masters, to which only students with a Master degree (Laureamagistrale) can apply.
