Before beginning your application it is important to familiarise yourself with key UCAS deadlines. Some universities (Cambridge and Oxford) and courses (medicine, veterinary medicine and dentistry) have much earlier deadlines and it is important you are fully aware of those which impact on your application.

October 15, 2020

Deadline for the universities of Oxford and Cambridge, and for most courses in medicine, veterinary medicine and dentistry.

January 15, 2021

  • Deadline for the majority of undergraduate courses for EU students.

June 30

  • Deadline for the majority of undergraduate courses for international students.
  • Applications received after June 30 are entered into UCAS Clearing.

July 4

  • Last date to apply via UCAS Extra for September 2021 entry.

July 5

  • 2021 UCAS Clearing opens.
  • 2021 International Baccalaureate results published.

August 19

September 21

  • Final deadline for 2021 entry applications.
