The 13th BASKETBALL SUMMER CAMP of Digenis Akrita Morfos NBA was completed with an absolute success at the indoor gym of Apostolos Varnabas High School in Strovolos. The club once again held with great success the summer Basketball Camp, for boys and girls aged 11-17, during the period 6-18 July. More than 60 children attended the event who had the opportunity to experience two weeks of intensive basketball. The participants had the opportunity to play sports under the orders of the president and coach of the club, Mario Anaksagorou, as well as by the experienced coaches of the Academies of the club Costas Englezos, Emmanuel Dritsos and Markos Christodoulidis.
The last day was full of games, competitions, prizes and of course many surprises from the organizers. All the children were served ice cream by Papafilipou who was one of the supporters of the camp. All the children who took part in the camp were very happy. At the end of the event, a photo was taken with the children who participated and the coaches, they were all wished a good summer and were all anticipating next year’s Basketball Camp. Mr. Chris Sofroniou, CEO of the Global Sports Division, congratulated the president of the club, the technical director and all the coaches for the successful organization.
