On Wednesday July 11 a seminal was hell on IGCSE English as a Second Language   at Semeli Hotel. The Organizer of the seminar was the  Sheridan Language Centre and it was sponsored by Global Education as well as the  Paper Works Philippides. Its aim was the exposition, to teachers of English, of the changes that are going to be made IGCSE examination as from 2019.  The challenges to be faced by the students in their preparation were also analysed and the significance of the development of a set of suitable strategies on different learning frame works, where explained.

The seminar was conducted by Peter Lucantoni from Cambridge University Press. Peter Lucantoni has over thirty years’ experience in the teaching of English and the preparation for exams in Europe and the Middle East. He is also a writer and co-writer of many popular books such as IGCSE English as a Second Language Coursebook which was first published in 2001.

The Managing Direct of Global Education, Chris Sofroniou spoke about the Global Education Company, explaining the services it offers and the special qualities that distinguish it.
