With great success, the trials for young football players was completed, on 19 June, at Kykkos Stadium in Engomi, organized by Global Educational Services.The stadium filled with young enthusiastic footballers, boys and girls, aged 15-18. Parents, friends filled the stadium to watch the trials. The event began with a brief greeting from Global CEO, Chris Sofroniou. EU students starting university in 2020/21 academic year will have guaranteed home fee status and financial support for the duration of courses in England, the Universities Minister has announced today (28 May). Speaking in Brussels on Tuesday, Chris Skidmore announced that EU nationals who start a higher education course in England in the 2020/21 academic year will remain eligible for undergraduate and postgraduate financial support, Advanced Learner loans as well as FE and apprenticeships support, whether a deal for leaving the EU is in place or not. The seminar “Studies Abroad: UK, Germany and The Netherlands” was completed with great success. The seminar, organized jointly by Global Education and the Federation of Parents' Associations of Secondary and Technical Education Nicosia, took place on Thursday 18th April at 19:00 at the Cultural Center, Strovolos.   Presenter of the seminar, Global Educations Marketing Manager, Despo Charalambous, welcomed the guests and then invited Global CEO, Mr. Chris Sofroniou, to talk about studies in the UK. The event took placed at the Hilton Cyprus in Nicosia on Wednesday 27 March! A total of 55 University of Reading and Henley Business School alumni, spanning various decades, courses and backgrounds, joined us to receive updates from the University and spend time networking with fellow alumni. The event proved to be an excellent start for the newly formed University of Reading Alumni Association, Cyprus.
