Thousands of members of university societies in England, both students, professors and academic staff, are ready to take up their roles in the yearly cycle of producing and transmission knowledge. Global Education congratulates all first year students and wishes every one of them every success in the new academic year.

We are very thankful to the Greek and Cypriot Society of Coventry University for the lovely hoodies that they gave our staff. We would like to thank especially the vice-president of the Greek and Cypriot Society, Constantinos Leonidou, who has been to our office and gave us the presents on the part of the Council. We wish all students at Coventry a creative academic year and don’t forget that anytime you need our help we shall be there for you!

Global Education, along with the Cypriot and Greek Society of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University, organized a Pre-departure Event that was held successfully on Wednesday, September 12th at Deloitte headquarters in Nicosia. All newcomers attending the event had the opportunity to find out useful information about the University as well as the city of Nottingham. In addition, they enjoyed various drinks and delicious food as well as sweets on the roof garden. As you know Global organized the Pre Departure event on Wednesday 5/9, together with the Hellenic and Cypriot Society of Derby University. the event was held successfully at the café Stasikratous 30. Student were greeted by the educational consultant of Global ( me J)  and then by the New President of the Greek and Cypriot Society Barnavas Stavrakis. The event was held in a very pleasant and friendly environment, this allowed students to get to know one another and had the opportunity to discuss any issues they had. they also enjoyed refreshing drinks and snacks. Global Education was one of the sponsors of the Pre-departure Event of the Greek and Cypriot Societies Manchester, which was held successfully on Thursday 6th September at Deloitte headquarters. The attendees had the opportunity to meet students who are already students in Manchester Universities. They also enjoyed refreshing drinks and delicious food, as well as desserts which were served on Deloitte's roof gardenThere was greetings from the President of Greek and Cypriot Societies Manchester, Savva Spyrou. The event was hosted at Deloitte headquarters in Nicosia. Global Education was the major sponsors of this event, which was held with great success on Monday 3 September. The event aimed to inform young students about the University and the city of Reading.               A short presentation was done , which included useful information about the university, shops and surroundings for new students.
