University College Northern Denmark School of Technology and Business is a training institution offering pragmatic and professional academic programmes to students who need quick access to a business career.

The departments are located at three attractive settings of the city of Aalborg, both with easy accessibility via public transport. Aalborg is a lively city with events day and night. For example, the largest carnival in Northern Europe that takes place in Aalborg at the end of May. All the facilities are well-equipped and open for students 24 hours a day. Accommodation in UCN

The institution offers accommodation at Aalborg Technical College Hostel. The hostel accommodates many international students, so you will enjoy the life run with community spirit in mind.

Study-bedroom at the hostel costs DKK 1995 per month. Initial payment to Landlord is comprised of a monthly payment and deposit (deposit is equivalent to monthly payment).

A hostel flat (unit) consists of two separate study-bedrooms. Each student occupies one study-bedroom. Two flat-mates share entrance, small corridor, WC, shower, fridge. It is a self-catering hostel with a kitchen on each floor. Each room is equipped with network connection point.

The amount to be paid on arrival is first month’s rate and 3990 DKK security deposit (5985 DKK).

The institution also co-operates with AAB College. There the price for a double room is DKK 4.200 per person for one month which is very fair as it includes also meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner).

There is a refrigerator as well a sink and a small kitchen table. The rooms are furnished with new nice beds, nice big working table, wardrobe, and a small bed table. Additionally, there is also free internet/TV-plug in all rooms.

A refundable deposit of DKK 4200 needs to be paid but you will get the deposit back if you leave the room in the same condition.

AAB-College also has excellent washing facilities where a wash costs DKK 10. Students are not allowed to drink alcohol at AAB College.

UC House is UCN Technology & Business’ new dormitory. UC House is situated just opposite the largest shopping area in Aalborg and is less than 2 km from UCN Technology & Business (by car) and about 800 m (by bike).

Rooms are refurbished, spacious and equipped with beds, computer tables and lamps. The center of the house is the main living room with direct access to a closed garden with barbeques. There are large sofas in the living room for hanging out with your friends or for watching TV on the big flat screen. Furthermore, there is free high speed wireless Internet.

The UC House has laundry facilities with new washing machines and tumble dryers as well as fully fitted kitchens with a place to sit down and enjoy a home cooked meal.

Most rooms have the size of 20 m2 and have private toilets. Prices range from DKK 1,850 to 2,450 for a single room and DKK 1,325 to 1,525 per person for two people in a shared room. On your request a new refrigerator can be installed in your room for the price of DKK 50 per month.
