Sofronis
Sofroniou, Senior Consultant
He earned his B.A. (University of London), M.A. (King's
College), M.Sc. (LSE), Ph.D. (UCL).
He has over 35 years of experience at high school and university
level in Britain, Cyprus and the USA. He has also worked
for five years at the BBC World Service as a programme assistant.
He was chief examiner in the Modern Greek GCE examination
of the University of London. He has been an Advisor to the
President of Cyprus and a member of the Preparatory Committee
of the University of Cyprus. He is a cofounder of the University
of Nicosia (Intercollege) and President of its Board.

Chris Sofroniou,
Managing Consultant
He earned a BSc in Marketing , M.A. in International Relations
and an MBA in Human Resource Managment from the U.S.A.
During his college days he held the position of President
of his Institutions Student Union, Vice-President of the
Intercultural Association and President of the Cypriot Student
Association. On his return to Cyprus he worked for a private
college in Cyprus in the Department of Training Development
and student recruitment. He is a President of the Graduates
Association of the American Academy, Nicosia, a prestigious
private high school in Cyprus and is a member of its Board
of Governors. |

Despo
Charalambous, Director of Public Relations & Marketing. She earned her BA (Hons) in Business from Coventry University
and her MSc in Marketing from Salford University in Manchester.
She then continued as a Tutor at Alderman Gallow Community
College, in the U.K. On her return to Cyprus she was appointed
Director of Student Affairs at well known college in Cyprus;
her office dealt with Student Counselling Recruitment & Marketing.
She is currently working in one of the biggest distributor & agent
company in the foodstuff, drinks and luxury items in Cyprus
as a PR & Promotion Manager.

Anna Maria
Agathocleous, Educational Consultant
She is in charge of Global Education in Larnaca. She holds
a BA degree in Business Administration (majoring in Accounting),
has 6 years of work experience in the field of accounting,
holding managerial positions. Anna Maria is in charge of interviewing students, counseling
on choices available to each student and processing applications
which come into the office. She also arranges accommodation
for new students and is in frequent contact with the university
International Offices.

Carol Vinakurava,
Student Support Officer
BSc Psychology. Carol has been with Global Education since
its establishment. She graduated with an HND in Business
Studies. She then did a BSc in Psychology in 2004. She is currently studying for an MA in Clinical Counseling
with an American university.
Carol processes applications from students and responds to
enquiries, which come into the office. She arranges accommodation
for new students and is in frequent contact with the university
International Offices.

Nicoletta Agesilaou,
Educational Consultant
Nicoletta graduated with a BSc in Psychology at Middlesex
University, London and then completed her MSc in Child Development
at the Institute of Education, University of London.
Nicoletta deals with applications for students and acts
as an academic consultant by providing information and counseling
to students. She also deals with accommodation and has direct
contact with the International Offices of the Universities. |

Demetra Michaelides,
Educational Consultant
MSc. (Counselling) Academic Consultant earned her Masters
degree in counselling from the University of La Verne, California,
after completing her bachelors in Psychology.
With her return to Cyprus she worked for a year as a student
counsellor at an educational consultancy. Her masters in
counselling gives students a chance to benefit from a comprehensive
counselling experience that will help them make better planned
choices for their future. She is also in close contact with
the British Council, the Fulbright Commission and high school
counsellors all over Cyprus.

Elias Philippou,
Educational Consultant
M.B.A., Academic Consultant
He earned both his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees
from the U.S.A.
He has served as a lecturer and student counsellor for
over 10 years at a college during which he put together
one of the largest Hospitality & Tourism programs offered
in Cyprus. He has acted as a consultant for the Hotel & Tourism
Industry in Cyprus and has given many lectures and seminars
in his field over the last few years.

A well known institution for its reputation in the field
of Arts. After returning to Cyprus she taught Art at the
English School and opened her own Art Studio where she
tutored students. She reviews portfolios and offers advice
to students who wish to study Art and Design.

Elpida Neroupou,
Educational Consultant She is in charge of Global Education in Limassol. She graduated
with a BA (hons) in Humanities at the University of Bedfordshire
and then completed an M.A. in Second Language Materials Development
and a Certificate in TESOL at Trinity College London. She is the owner of Apostolos Andreas Private Institute
and has 12 years experience in teaching English and teacher
training. Elpida is responsible to counsel students on courses
and entry requirements and to deal with applications which
come into her off.
